ABOUT US

Our A and B teams were founded for the 2010-2011 VRC Season: Round Up. We proudly carried, and still carry, the team number 5278. Our robotics program grew throughout the season, and the next year, we founded our C team for the 2011-2012 VRC Season: Gateway. Excitement continued to increase for our robotics program, and we founded our D team to compete in the 2012-2013 VRC Season: Sack Attack. Our current coaches and physics teachers came to our team in the 2016-2017 VRC Season: Starstruck, and we founded our E Team that would learn the fundamentals of engineering and robotics in a class at Brookwood High School during the 2022-23 Season: Spin Up. Now, students could engage in STEM through a class offered by our school!

AMBITIONS

In the future, we plan to host more competitions, including even the Georgia Middle School VEX State Championship in 2024! We also are bringing TSA VEX into our normal VEX Program. We hope to make a run to TSA Nationals this year. Our goal at Brookwood Robotics is to engineer, and show engineering to other people to get them interested in the ever-growing STEM field.

OUR THANKS

We cannot express enough how much we thank our coaches and sponsors for making everything possible for us. They sacrifice their time to prepare logistics and provide equipment for us to use. Our sponsors are a major reason we were able to host a competition this year, and receive positive feedback from all attendees. Our coaches have to manage the robotics program in addition to the rigorous courses that they already teach at Brookwood High School, yet they still give us the opportunity to grow as engineers and friends.

THIS WEBSITE

This website was created by students from the Brookwood Robotics VEX Teams. The color scheme used on this website reflects the official colors of Brookwood High School (Maroon and Gold) that we are very proud to wear at each competition and event that we attend. The blue on the website adds a nice contrast to the red, and represents the blue that is commonly associated with technology and TSA
